Questions
Answers about registration, rejections and working with us.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. The registry and the carriers make the decision, and no one outside them can promise an outcome. What we do is prepare each submission to meet their requirements, check it against your website and consent flow before it goes in, and correct it if it is returned.
What is A2P 10DLC?
A2P 10DLC stands for application-to-person messaging over 10-digit long codes. It is the US framework for businesses that send text messages from standard local phone numbers. Businesses register their brand and each messaging campaign so carriers can identify them and deliver their messages.
Who has to register?
Any business that sends texts to US mobile numbers from a standard 10-digit local number through a messaging platform needs to register. That includes small local businesses, agencies sending on behalf of clients and software platforms.
What is the difference between brand and campaign registration?
The brand is your business identity: legal name, tax ID, address and website. The campaign describes what you send: the use case, sample messages, how people opt in and how they opt out. A brand can have more than one campaign.
What do you need from me?
Your legal business name, EIN or equivalent, entity type, business address, website, a contact person, and a description of the messages you send and how customers agree to receive them. If you already have a rejection, send us the rejection reason as well.
My registration was rejected. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. Send us the rejection message and the details you submitted. We find the cause, correct the brand or campaign and resubmit. Some rejections come down to a category that carriers do not allow, and we will tell you plainly if that is your situation.
Can I register as a sole proprietor?
Sole proprietor registration exists for individuals and very small senders without an EIN, with tighter limits than a standard brand. Whether it fits depends on your volume and business structure. We can look at your details and recommend the right type.
Do you work with GoHighLevel?
Yes. We register brands and campaigns for businesses and agencies that send through GoHighLevel and other messaging platforms. See our GoHighLevel page for what we need from an agency.
What happens if I send texts without registering?
Carriers filter or block messages from unregistered traffic on 10-digit numbers, so your texts may not reach customers, and your platform may restrict or suspend sending. Registering is the way to get delivered reliably.
Does registration affect how many messages I can send?
Yes. Approved brands and campaigns are given message limits that depend on the brand type and trust information. Higher volumes may call for additional vetting. We explain what applies to your case.
What does it cost?
Registry and carrier fees apply, and our service is priced based on your situation. Send us a request and we will reply with a quote.
How long does approval take?
It varies. Brand and campaign reviews are done by third parties and times change, especially when a submission is returned for correction. We tell you where things stand and what is needed rather than quoting a fixed date.
Do I need a privacy policy and SMS terms on my website?
In practice, yes. Reviewers check the website for a privacy policy and for terms that cover text messaging, and for the consent language on your opt-in form. We tell you exactly what to add.
Is this legal advice?
No. We prepare registrations to meet carrier and registry requirements. For legal questions about consent and messaging laws, speak to a qualified attorney.
Do I need to register if I only send a few messages?
Yes. Registration applies to application-to-person texting from 10-digit local numbers regardless of volume. Smaller senders may qualify for a lower-volume registration type with tighter limits.
Can one brand have more than one campaign?
Yes. A brand can register several campaigns, for example one for appointment reminders and another for promotions. Each campaign needs its own description, samples and consent details.
Can I use my existing contact list?
Only if those contacts gave consent to receive your text messages and you can show it. Purchased, rented or scraped lists do not carry consent, and carriers do not accept them.
What should my website have for registration?
A live site that matches the business, a findable privacy policy, terms that cover text messaging, and consent language next to every form that collects a phone number.
Why were my texts delivered before and now they are not?
Carriers have been tightening how they treat unregistered traffic on 10-digit numbers, so messages that used to get through can now be filtered. Registering your brand and campaign is the way to restore reliable delivery.
Do I need to register again if I change my business details?
Changes to your legal name, address, website or the kinds of messages you send may need to be reflected in your registration. Tell us what changed and we will advise what to update or register.
Can you register several clients at once?
Yes. We work with agencies and platforms that have many client brands. Send us the list and we will handle them with a consistent intake.
Are you affiliated with the carriers or the registry?
No. We are an independent service. The registry and carriers review and decide on every registration.
